Crumbs is Lovin' Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer LawernceThere are many ways to recognise when you have officially ‘made it’ as an actress.Your name frequently appears in the hottest gossip columns. You are constantly featured on the front of fashionable magazines. You receive multiple acting award nominations and your name is the first to appear in the Google drop-down bar. And most importantly, you bag yourself an Oscar for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role.

Just a few of the things that stunning American actress, Jennifer Lawrence, has achieved by the young age of 22 years.

The story so far

Perhaps best known for her outstanding performance in 2012’s The Hunger Games, Lawrence has been set to impress since the age of 14 years, when her acting career began to take shape. Born in Louisville, Kentucky on 15th August 1990, Lawrence’s big break is often considered to be 2010’s Winter Bone, where she played the role of Ree, landing her multiple Academy Award and Golden Globe nominations and securing her a role in franchise reboot X-Men: First Class (2011) as Mystique.

Lawrence then proceeded to land herself the role of a lifetime as Katniss Everden in film adaption of literary phenomenon The Hunger Games (2012), instantly boosting Lawrence up the A-List ladder.

Let's talk about sex

At age 22 years, her sensational performance alongside Bradley Cooper as a recovering sex addict in the romantic comedy, Silver Linings Playbook (2013) earned her a well-deserved Oscar. The film adaption of Matthew Quick’s 2008 novel, "Playbook", saw Lawrence steal the show in her poignantly fierce and tragic depiction of a frank and intellectual woman who is unabashed by her sexual liaisons.

If you have not had a chance to catch sight of her in Silver Linings Playbook, I strongly urge you to do so. Failing that, keep an eye out for Lawrence in her reprising role in The Hunger Games sequels, scheduled for release in November 2013, 2014 and 2015.
