The Iconic Bonnevile
This summer sees the 50th anniversary of British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph's popular Bonneville bike. The leaders of designer motorcycle fashion - Belstaff and Hollywood actor, Ewan McGregor have designed something which is both spectacular and unique to mark this special occasion.
Sitting in Good Company
Triumph's Bonnevile bike has been the popular choice of motorbike for celebrities like; Steve McQueen, James Dean, Marlon Brando, George Clooney and Nicholas Cage who have all fallen for the Bonneville's curves and top class craftsmanship.
It's a Classic
For the Bonneville's 50th anniversary Triumph has created two unique one-off designs for their limited edition bikes for a limited period on a made to measure basis. The first design is the Ewan McGregor model that has a copper plated tank with waxed Belstaff cotton seats and side panels.
Belstaff's design has a sophisticated black and gold colour scheme, a gold seat cowl and a black and gold pannier bag. The look is completed with a limited edition biker style jacket; all at a price tag of 8,999 UK pounds.
Only 650 beauties will be produced, and Ewan's model will be auctioned off for UNICEF so if you'd quite fancy one of these purring in your driveway, you can either visit www.triumphmotorcycles.com where the bikes will be available from late July, head to the Belstaff flagship store on Conduit Street in London or you can contact Jack Lilley, Triumph's authorized dealer on 44 33 (0) 1784 420 421. For motorcycle enthusiasts, this is a must. |
