All Tomorrow's Parties

Calling all movie and music buffs out there; Future Cinema and Warp X have announced their ticket release for the All Tomorrow's Parties concert, 'The Night of Musical Delights', which follows the premier screening of the film of the same name at the Edinburgh International film festival on the 24th June.

For the event, the Edinburgh Picturehouse will be transformed into a 1950's holiday camp featuring not only the movie screening, but also a fusion of music and performance, midnight bingo, Northern soul dancers as well as the lovely legs competition (don't ask!)

'All Tomorrow's Parties' is a kaleidoscopic journey into the parallel musical universe of the cult music festival of the same name. The film is a semi-found multimedia bricolage shot by over two hundred filmmakers, fans and musicians over the festival's recent history, with key contributions from co-director Jonathan Caouette (Tarnation) and cinematographer Vincent Moon (The Take Away Shows, Arcade Fire). The film is co-developed and financed by the Warp X partners, Film4, UKFC, EM Media and Screen Yorkshire.

Tickets are on sale for 18.50 for both the screening and the concert, or 12.50 for the concert only at www.edfilmfest.org. There will also be a surprise performance on the night, for further information and to follow the event, log on to www.twitter.com/futurecinema.
