Muscles and Tussles
The 1990's was a wonderful time for television viewers. Who can forget Saturday nights spent sitting on the sofa watching grown men in Lycra hitting each other with giant sized cotton buds? Good times indeed. Now, 8 years later and following a makeover for the 21st century and wearing smaller, sexier costumes, Gladiators has returned to our television screens.
The show was always part pantomime, with the obligatory bad guy, which in the original series was Gladiator Wolf (who has now found his softer side running a children's adventure playground) and part David and Goliath battle with mere mortals pitted against muscle bound 'athletes' in a series of mini 'battles' which culminated with a head-to-head race to the finish line to claim the title of Gladiator Champion.
The show which used to be hosted by John Fashanu and Ulrika Jonsonn is now fronted by former Arsenal legend, Ian Wright and TV presenter babe, Kirsty Gallacher.
Gallacher...Ready
Scottish born Kirsty Gallacher has a fine sporting heritage; her golfing father is past Ryder Cup Captain Bernard Gallacher and Kirsty has been playing the game since childhood. The mother of one has been in a long term relationship with Rugby Union player, Paul Sampson.
Kirsty has hosted many sporting shows on Sky including, Sky Sports News and Soccer A.M so she should be a familiar face to legions of armchair pundits around the country, more recently she has had a regular slot on prime time hit show, Ant & Dec's Saturday Night Takeaway.
The London College of Fashion graduate is also not averse to revealing her 36D figure on the covers of lad's mags such as Arena and has made a regular appearance in FHM's annual sexiest women list.
For being a chick who knows and loves sport as well as being a bit of a hottie, Kirsty Gallacher, Crumbs For Men salutes you.
