Known as the entry level Rolls Royce, the RR4 (otherwise known as the 200EX during its experimentation) has finally premiered at the motor show in Geneva, to much anticipation and tongue wagging from the audience. The RR4 draws inspiration from the next generation BMW 7 series, it is said to belong to the Phantom family, though it is significantly smaller than its predecessor.
Rolls Royce CEO, Tom Purves knows what his potential customers want from their ride, stating; "we have consciously engineered this car to be more involving and dynamic for those owners around the world that will wish to drive it themselves." Add this to the fact that the RR4 will feature a 6.6 litre charged V12 engine that is unique to Rolls Royce using engine power of up to 500bhp and is made with improved fuel and CO2 efficiency, I am still trying to figure out a way for me to add this car to my CFM expense account.
The RR4 is scheduled for release to the consumer later in the year, but if you can't wait that long you can always catch the Roller on tour as it hits Singapore on the 3rd and 4th of April, Miami on the 19th and 20th of May, Los Angeles from the 26th - 28th May, London on the 9th - 11th June and finally comes to rest in Cannes on the 2nd - 4th of July. Rock star or what?
