Mayweather hangs up his belt.

Well the fat lady has definitely sung. Floyd Mayweather has shocked fans by confirming that he will be retiring. The Olympic bronze medallist stated in his retirement letter that he no longer has the passion to continue with the sport. The American magazine, "The Ring" coined him as the number one pound for pound boxer in the world, and he was "The Ring" fighter of the year in 1998 and 2007. Undefeated he has won six world boxing championships in five different weight classes and is currently the WBC Welterweight champion.

His letter described his reason for retiring; "I loved competing and winning and also wanted to continue my career for the fans, knowing they were there for me and enjoyed watching me fight... However, after many sleepless nights and intense soul-searching, I realized I could no longer base my decision on anything but my own personal happiness, which I no longer could find."

Mitchell Rose loses his mind... again.

Some people fake injuries to get the compensation money, while others spend hours in the betting shops wishing for miracles. Everyone seems to want to make easy money. Well Mitchell Rose has discovered the easiest way to make millions - he is suing superstar rapper Jay Z for $88 million. The boxer who raps, and also "practices law" has accused Jay Z for using his technique of rapping in a soft whisper without crediting Rose for the idea. I'm surprised that anyone would even waste time thinking up this law suit let alone filing it, but considering this is the same Mitchell Rose that wrote the book "Mike Tyson tried to kill my daddy" I'm not so shocked.
