On the Red Carpet at London Film Festival

Opening night at the London Film Festival and it was Clooney-mania as Gorgeous George delighted fans at the premiere of Fantastic Mr Fox. It was nice to see George appearing to spend more time signing autographs for fans than dealing with the assembled press. A host of celebs were out at the premiere including Jonathan Ross and supermodel Cindy Crawford who looked fantastic.

An Education

All eyes were on Carey Mulligan at the premiere of An Education. The young star's performance has been the talk of the town. Oscar winning actress Emma Thompson, who co-stars with Mulligan in An Education, was also present on the night and said that Mulligan was 'the real thing'.

Up in the Air

No George at the premiere of Up in the Air but director Jason Reitman and actresses Vera Farmiga and Anna Kendrick were. Reitman, director of Juno, admitted to some serious sleep deprivation after a run of premieres taking him from one country to the next in a very short time. Reitman also spoke of his love of London and how he had actually proposed to his wife in the city.

Actresses Vera Farmiga looked absolutely stunning and spoke about life with a ten month baby in tow. Anna Kendrick, previously better known for her role in the Twilight films, recounted how she had originally thought she had blown it when reading for Reitman and the role of Natalie.
