Raise Your Hats Please...

A good hat is hard to do without this summer. They are extremely functional and have been spotted on many a runway from the catwalks of Gucci who have been working the Plaids to Paul Smith's signature stripes.

Hats are all the rage this summer; what a better way of keeping your hair hidden during those in-between haircut days (come on boys, everybody has those days once in a while) whilst shielding you from our typical summer showers. www.hatshopping.com has a great collection of styles at reasonable prices.

Kangol Tropic Player

This is hat is a good look for the beach as well as the high street. The Tropical Player is made from breathable fabric so not only does it protect you from the sun rays, but it keeps your head cool at the same time. Please note that you have to be extra careful how you wear this one; as you could run the risk of looking like you've missed your cruise ship home. Priced at 39,90 EUR.

Kangol Cotton Army Cap

This hat is one of the cheapest of the bunch, but also one of my favourites; a silent but deadly weapon. Teamed with a crisp white tee or vest and a pair of nice fitted stone washed jeans, no one need ever know that you haven't washed your hair in yonks. 19.99 EUR.

Stetson Brooklin Flat Cap

Seems like we can't get enough of the flat cap style and looking at the Brooklin Flat Cap from Stetson, it's easy to see why we just can't put it down just yet. This fine woven dark beige cap is lightweight and available for 79.00 EUR, considerably pricier than the others - but guaranteed to stay in fashion for ages; you may even be able to pass it down to your son or daughter once (or should I say if) you've finished with it.
