Silent Disco; THAT Greenwich

THAT Greenwich presents

A Silent Disco

Saturday 11th July

On Saturday 11th June from 10pm, THAT in Greenwich will host the first in a series of Silent Disco nights on their open-air terrace. At the Silent Disco, clubbers will be in complete control of what they listen to. The usual loudspeaker systems on the terrace will be replaced with personal headphones, presented to each reveller upon entrance to the club.

Two live DJs will simultaneously be transmitted to these headsets, and it will be up to the clubber to take their pick between uber-cool Disco and classic House music. There is also the option to forgo music entirely by hitting the mute button, allowing clubbers to enjoy the surreal spectacle of other dancers bopping around in silence.

Global House legend DJ Jon Carter will be taking charge of The Gallery, where clubbers will definitely not need any headphones to hear the beats... Jon Carter specialises in the unexpected, juxtaposing tunes as varied as the Scots' Guards and Glenn Campbell's 'Rhinestone Cowboy' in his volatile sets. A regular performer at Fabric and Shindig and the man behind the genre-defining hit 'Underwater', you can be assured that Jon Carter will deliver a diverse and exciting set.

THAT has a vast terrace space over two levels that can host up to 700 guests. With suspended disco balls and two outdoor cocktail bars guests feel like they're a million miles from the capital.

The club's interior is accented by white glass chandeliers, more disco balls and slick black floors. Booth style seating and raised levels give the club an intimate appeal. Hosting high-profile DJs and events, such as Secretsundaze and Cream Ibiza, THAT Club is the perfect place to see the sun set and rise over London...
