
"I'm gonna make you an offer you can't refuse..."
Whether you've seen The Godfather trilogy or not (and if you haven't - what's up with that?), the dialogue and movie images will still be familiar to you. The Godfather movie is based on the novel by Mario Puzo. The Trilogy forms an undeniable cinematic masterpiece, telling the story of the Corleone family and the  Italian-American mafia.
Photographer, Steve Schapiro who has photographed the likes of Mohammed Ali and Robert Kennedy, as well as being responsible for movie posters such as Taxi Driver and Midnight Cowboy, was fortunate enough to have unprecedented access to the sets and actors. The images feature Hollywood giants; Brando, Pacino and Caan.
His iconic images (some previously unseen) are on show until 28th March 2009 at the Hamilton Gallery, London in a world exclusive exhibition. Do your best wiseguy impression by donning your sharpest suit. Note; stuffing your cheeks with cotton wool Brando-style is optional, Capiche? Open until 28th March 2009.
