Wave the Flag

How many men has your girlfriend slept with? Do you know? Do you care? Would you respect her more if it were less than 10? How about if you were considering her as wife material, would it have to be less than five?

In this day and age, bringing up a subject like this almost seems redundant. Gone are the days where women have to sacrifice their virginal blood on an alter of white sheets and many witnesses to be allowed into a marriage. Yet, words like 'slut', 'easy', 'reputation' and many others of a similar derivative are used in female circles as things they don't want to be.

My first thought was perhaps, like many torturous ideals, such as being stick thin with large round breasts to get a man, this is just another thing that we women inflict upon ourselves. We tell ourselves men have certain views (without any evidence whatsoever), and then feel guilty for any action we take outside the parameters of that perception.

So what do you think boys?

Do you want a woman with a healthy sexual appetite who will demand you to satisfy her as much as she does you? On the other hand, would you rather a woman who has only been with one or two men and will ask you to wait six months before removing her chastity belt?

Every day, we're watching pop culture trying to open the door to sexual equality - shows like 'Sex In The City', 'Grey's Anatomy', and 'Perfect Practice' push the point about women with healthy sexual appetites, who want to explore and experiment as much as men do, yet for some reason, the Brits seem to hesitate to pick up the flag and wave it wildly.
