Being that October is Black History Month, we thought the Keep Smiling Through: Black Londoners on the Home Front 1939-1945 exhibition would be perfect for what's on in October. The exhibition highlights many of the contributions that black Londoners made to the Second World War and will document the voluntary roles on the home front of ordinary black men and women. The exhibition is free, visit www.southwark.gov.uk/cumingmuseum for more information.
