X-Press 2; Raise Your Hands

Excitement builds for X-Press 2's latest music venture. After the success with their last vinyl only record, which had brilliant sales; especially considering the record did not even have a barcode, they have now released a new compilation album titled "Raise your Hands - The Greatest Hits". Imagine having all your favourite dance tracks on one album? Well that's what X-Press 2 have done, and they've come up with a genuine dance greatest hits album.

The album includes classic dance theme tunes such as "Lazy" featuring David Byrne, which zoomed to number two in the UK charts, and "Give It". "Raise your Hands- Greatest Hits" is a dance music fan's dream compilation album as the CD is filled with banging beats, top DJs, and every track is completely danceable.

With this compilation there's no need to dig through boxes of records, just throw on this album and you will have complete floor filler after complete floor filler, making dance and house tracks accessible and easy.

The album contains songs that are familiar to even your weakest raver, with remixes of Missy Elliot, Kelis and Fatboy Slim, there's something for everyone. Speaking about the Missy Elliot and Kelis remixes, X Press 2 say, "...It was basically sticking Hoover noises over R'n'B tracks. No, seriously, it's so much easier when you have strong vocals to begin with and that was the case with both of these."

Collaborators on this album include: David Byrne (Lazy), Rob Harvey (Kill 100), Kurt Wagner, and Tim DeLaughter. Everything you would expect from a dance compilation with a brand new track called "Fire" which features Afrika Bambaataa. The track was initially made as a remix to a hip-hop song; it has received excellent feedback every time it has been spun on the DJ decks.

X-Press 2 knows exactly what it takes to get the crowd jumping; having spun tracks in the hottest clubs, and even playing a set at Glastonbury, they are much more than your average DJs.
